| life saver--and so calm about it |

| On a rainy Saturday about 2 weeks ago, we woke to fine our desktop had crashed overnight, and we'd lost all of our data. Our screen was blank, our icons gone. Nothing was left. After some research, I settled on Brooklyn PC Clinic. Mike was extremely helpful, calm, and informative in our initial conversation. He explained the possibilities and my options. I decided to work with him. He offered to pick up my hard drive because he was going to be in my neighborhood. He called me Sunday evening to say he'd recovered all of our data. I picked up our hard drive from him the next day, and we were ready to go. Not only that but he spent a great deal of time on the phone with me making sure I understood how best to back up our data so that this doesn't happen again. He made a potentially horrible situation into something entirely manageable. Thank you, Mike. |

April 1st - the "conficker worm" may strike
CBS's 60 Minutes features a story you may be interested in
watching about the menace lurking on the Internet that
could affect your PC and maybe your bank account.
A new generation of hidden computer viruses and worms are
hiding on internet websites and invading the PCs of
millions of Americans, threatening to steal financial
information or cripple computers with multitudes of spam.
Threats like the new worm known as Conficker - which
experts say will be given new instructions on April 1 -
are worrying security experts, who wage war against the
evolving viruses that are often the creation of foreign
cyber gangs.
